Compliance Checklist

A list of the compliance activities an Indian organisation must perform, grouped by how often they fall due. The Labour Codes now govern these obligations; the acts named below are the underlying laws the Codes replaced. Due dates for EPF and ESI contributions are both the 15th of the following month.

Note: The Labour Codes came into force on 21 November 2025. The four Codes (Wages, Industrial Relations, Social Security, and OSHWC) now govern these obligations. Confirm the current rules for the states you operate in, because some states are still transitioning. See the Labour Codes overview.
