Risk Based Approach
Knighthood analyses your organisation’s context and potential threats to decide the physical security measures needed. A risk-based approach ensures the measures are proportionate and effective.
Identify
Section titled “Identify”We identify the people, information, physical assets, and functions that need protection, then determine the threats facing your organisation. We understand the value and sensitivity of your information and assets so the physical security risks can be assessed accurately.
Assess
Section titled “Assess”Using Business Impact Levels (BILs), we assess the potential impact if people, information, or assets were harmed, compromised, or unavailable. For example:
- Customer aggression
- Property theft
- Tampering with the security system and unauthorised out-of-hours access
- Unauthorised access to premises and theft of valuable information
For each threat scenario, we consider the risks to the public and to people, property, operations, reputation, finances, or business processes.
